There is great value in learning how to cross borders and understand the perspectives of people different from yourself. The CCE credit challenges students to engage with cultures and communities other than their own, to prepare them for a lifetime of global citizenship.
Need CCE credit?
As of summer, 2023: Students still needing Cross-Cultural Engagement core credit may meet this requirement by taking any course designated for Global Regions and Cultures and/or Diversity and Difference in the current core.
For off-campus options, see Off-campus Programs.
All programs featured on the Calvin Off-campus Programs (OCP) website that receive “Diversity and Difference” or “Global Regions and Cultures” tagged credit can count for CCE.
