Scholarship program guidelines & eligibility

First Generation Award - $3,000

Awarded to students whose parents did not earn a bachelor's degree.

  • Amount: $3,000
  • Availability: Up to 5 undergraduate years
  • Renewal criteria: Automatically renewed
Legacy Award - $4,000

Awarded to students who are children of alumni or students whose parents are members of the Christian Reformed Church.

  • Amount: $4,000
  • Availability: Up to 5 undergraduate years
  • Renewal criteria: Automatically renewed
Mosaic Award - $4,000

Awarded to incoming North American ethnic minority students, international students, or majority students with significant cross-cultural experience.

  • Amount: $4,000
  • Availability: Up to 5 undergraduate years
  • Renewal criteria: Automatically renewed
  • Responsibilities: Mosaic Award recipients support a campus culture of welcome, respect, and achievement. Students who receive the Mosaic Award are required to attend a specific diversity-focused orientation if they are extended an invitation.
Entrada Scholarship - $4,000

Awarded to students that successfully complete the Entrada Scholars Program.

  • Amount: $4,000
  • Availability: Up to 5 undergraduate years
  • Renewal criteria: Guaranteed through your sophomore year and renewable for up to three additional undergraduate years with a cumulative Calvin GPA of 2.5
CCCU Tuition Waiver Exchange Program (TWEP)

Students of faculty and staff from participating colleges in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities can apply for tuition reduction by completing the CCCU TWEP application by January 1.

  • Amount: 100% of tuition
  • Availability: Up to 5 undergraduate years
  • Renewal criteria: Automatically renewed if parent remains employed at sending institution
