The following scholarships are available to students studying off-campus in Calvin-sponsored semester programs. Click on the name of the scholarship for individual scholarship requirements and deadlines. Typically, applications are available for the fall semester programs from March 1 to March 31 and applications are available for the spring semester programs from September 1 to September 30.

Benjamin A. Gilman International ScholarshipThe Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies abroad. For more information on details and how to apply, click here.
Boren Awards for International StudyBoren Scholarships are available to students of all proficiency levels who are committed to enhancing their language skills in areas of critical need. Recipients of this scholarship commit to working for the federal government for at least one year after graduation. Learn more.
Freeman-Asia AwardFreeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA) provides scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. Learn more.
