These flat rates are lower than using personal inkjet printers, personal laser printers, or local retail copy centers.
*Please be aware that a 15% surcharge is added to personal printing and nonprofit printing done at Calvin Printing Services. Tax is added to personal jobs on top of that. Feel free to request a quote for a specific job, but try to give us as much information as possible (including sending us your document) so that we can give you an accurate estimate.

Printing Services uses higher quality paper for color printing than Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) and laser printers use. It is heavier (70# instead of normal 20# bond) and has a smoother finish, which makes the colors brighter.
Prices for using colored paper, heavier paper, and premium paper are slightly higher.
Supplies
Staples and toner are provided to on-campus Multi-function Device printers (MFD) and laser printers. As well as three types of paper:
- 8.5 x 11, white, 20# (regular and 3-hole punched)
- 8.5 x 14, white, 20#
- 11 x 17, white, 20#
Printing services charges departments monthly for the following devices:
- MFD $50.00 B&W, $75.00 Color
- Laser $25.00 B&W, $35.00 Color
- Local $10.00 B&W, $12.50 Color
