Calvin remembers Lena Meijer
Philanthropists Fred and Lena Meijer were deeply devoted to the west Michigan community, supporting a variety of endeavors. Calvin is especially grateful for their assistance in the establishment of the Frederik Meijer Chair in Dutch Language and Culture and the Gateway Initiative, designed to offer access to higher education for first-generation students.
