United HealthCare Student Plan Insurance 2023–24
To ensure that students have access to necessary medical care, Calvin requires all students who are enrolled in 6 or more credits to have health insurance coverage. The university offers coverage for you if you need it. United HealthCare provides year-round coverage for $2,100. You will be automatically enrolled in United HealthCare unless you provide proof of comparable coverage and sign a waiver form by the specified date.
Detailed, up-to-date information is available at the Health Services website. If a student has valid health insurance that provides (major medical) coverage while studying at Calvin University, an online waiver form demonstrating adequate coverage must be completed. However, please do not assume that a plan provides coverage: it is strongly recommended that students investigate carefully with their insurance company prior to completing the waiver. Vehicle registration 2023-24
