Gretchen Karsten
- Professors are a key part of the Calvin experience recalls Gretchen. “I could sing the praises of the professors at Calvin all day long. So many of them walked alongside me as I asked questions about career direction or how the Christian worldview fits into a corporate context. When professors say that their doors are always open, they mean it.”
Cliff Anderson
- Calvin Actions Projects provide an opportunity for students to work with an organization to solve real business challenges. Cliff and his team consulted on a project for Stryker in the acute care setting by providing competitive analysis, market sizing, cost and margin analysis, after research discussions with the research and development, marketing, and sales teams.
Zachary Kammeraad
- "Your faith will grow at Calvin," reflects Zachary. “The experience gave me the depth and breadth to discuss my faith in personal and professional settings. With faith integrated into every class, I was able to apply faith to various situations I encountered and still encounter in everyday situations with clients.”
Maydi Hernandez
- Calvin has a lot of excellent professors, as Maydi Hernandez '18 can attest. But it wasn't just in class that this business major found ways to connect, learn, and grow on campus.
Taylor Asfour
- For Taylor Asfour '17, the tennis team, dorm leadership, core classes, and the accounting major were all pieces of a puzzle that lead him to where he is today: Calvin’s one-year master’s of accounting program.
